Weekend Binge Recommendations {Blogmas Day-10.}

 Hello, hello,

Another weekend closer to Christmas!

The lights in our building went up today and I am feeling most festive!

If you are looking for some quick stuff to watch tonight and tomorrow, then we've got you!

Here are some movies and shows that we've enjoyed recently!

1. Blur

Blur is a thriller movie streaming on Zee5 starring Tapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah. It follows the story of twins- Gautami and Gayatri- who have progressive blindness. When Gautami is found dead, the police think it is suicide but Gayatri refuses to believe it. As she delves more and more into her twin's life in the days leading up to her death, she uncovers some pretty sketchy and dangerous things that confirm her suspicions.

Though a bit of a slow burn, Blur is quite nicely done.

2. The White Lotus (Season 2)

Season 1 of The White Lotus was weird and slightly problematic but fun. Season 2 is even better!

Set in a beautiful resort in Sicily, the series follows a bunch of Italian and American characters, who go through quite a bit of drama during their Italian vacation. Hilarious and fun, this is a great show to binge now, if you haven't, since the finale is almost around the corner.

The White Lotus is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

3. The Texas Killing Fields

Between 1971 to 1997, more than 30 young women between the ages of 12 to 27 years were brutally sexually assaulted and murdered along the stretch of highway between Houston and Galveston in Texas. The police figured out next to nothing about each of these cases and the killer (or killers) went about committing these horrific crimes.

The Texas Killing Fields takes a look at these murders and the efforts made by the FBI and local law enforcement to bring the killer(s) to justice.

4. The Noel Diary

The Noel Diary
is, probably, the most heartwarming, soul-filled of the Christmas movies released this year! The others we've watched have seriously lacked soul!

So, if you are looking for a Christmas movie with a solid story and some lovely characters, then this is a great one to watch!

The Noel Diary is streaming on Netflix.

5. Slow Horses (Season 2)

If you like spy thrillers and the like, then Slow Horses on AppleTV+ is just what you need. It is sharp, funny and thrilling.

The story follows a team of MI6 operatives, who've made some mistakes and hence, have been sent to do dull work as punishment, but whilst doing this dull paperwork, them stumble upon a conspiracy and actually end up solving it in Season 1.

Season 2 is supposed to be about some old Cold War type spy, who is out to create havoc. So, I am on Episode 1 so far and really love it!

Have a great weekend, guys!
