Friday Favourites: Art + Books + Art Journal + Pouch + Satchel.

Hello Loves!

Time for some Friday Favourites!

1. Art Prints and Book Mail!

Some delights that arrived in the mail today and made my very happy.

Books & Art, could there be anything better?!

I think not.

Art: Diary of a Flower Girl

2. A Very Special Bookmark: Aarti of Diary of a Flowergirl fame also slipped in this very special and thoughtful bookmark with my order of mini-prints. I love it so much! Look how adorable this bookmark is and Aarti made her very quickly too! I literally hugged it.

How insanely talented is she?!

Please go check out her work and treat yourself to some heart warming and joy inducing art.

3. Reading: Reading this week has been pretty decent. Honestly, I don't quite know where this week ran off?! I meant to read certain books but read something different entirely.

Saira Zariwala is Afraid by Shabnam Minwalla was kindly sent to me for review by the publishers and it arrived on Monday morning and I started reading it right away. I have since read it and short review: it's well-written, fun, spooky, sinister and a good thriller.

A full review will come soon.

4. Journaling: I finally sat down and journaled this past week and it was wonderful as it always is.
I missed it so much and hope to do a spot of journaling this weekend as well.

Journal: BRWN  I am so in love with this journal of mine. I am using it as an art/junk journal and it's perfect for my needs. The paper quality is excellent and the cover is of course stunning.

Pouch: Karubasona These girls make my visions come true.
I wanted a cozy set-up of Tea, Book and Nimki and look how lovely it all looks.
The book, well story in question is Parineeta, which was my Thamma's favourite story in the whole world because it was like her own love story. So happy this tiny detail could be added to the pouch. I am currently using it as my pencil case and it fits everything comfortably.

5. Satchel Love: Now a fashion favourite!
It's been a while since I even had a fashion favourite!
I got this beautiful yellow floral block print satchel from Pitara Unbox Creativity last month. It was love at first sight when I saw it on their IG feed and we ordered it at once. I won't lie it was a lot tinier than what I had expected, which is on me, I didnt even check it's size! I just thought it would be bigger than what it is. But...she is still a thing of beauty and I love her!
She does fit most of what I need and the rest I can easily carry in a tote bag.
No biggie!
You can check out their website and see the large range of bags they have, as well as clothes.
I have bought from them numerous times and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
